Well, our quality products and low prices didn’t hurt, but most of the credit belongs to our happy, hardworking employees who really are the face of our company.
Our staff are the driving force behind our success. When you enter a Home Bargains store, there is an expectation that your experience will be superior to the standard ‘discount retail’ package offered elsewhere. Day in, day out, our store teams provide the industry-leading, friendly, knowledgeable service for which we are known, while maintaining the clean and tidy stores which set us apart from our competitors.
Not only do our staff know a good bargain when they see it, but they love to talk about them! By engaging with our products, our teams are able to interact with our customers and recommend our latest ‘Star Buys’ to create a memorable and enjoyable shopping experience like no other. Whether it is a customer’s first or hundredth time in-store, our staff always ensure that it will not be their last.
Staff members also play an integral part in our development, as we reward vision and initiative. Our suggestions scheme enables and encourages our employees to draw inspiration from their daily routines and experiences to recommend in-demand products, efficiency solutions and ways in which we can make shopping easier and more convenient for customers.
